PartMatch Terms of Service

PartMatch provides informational appliance-part compatibility results based on source-backed records in its verified dataset. Coverage is limited. A not_verified or unknown_model result means PartMatch does not have enough verified evidence to confirm the requested fit. A revision_required coverage result means PartMatch recognizes the model family but will not make a compatibility claim until revision-specific evidence is available.
Use of compatibility information
Check the full appliance model number and replacement-part identifier before purchasing or installing a part. Manufacturer documentation and labeling for your exact appliance revision remain authoritative when they differ from PartMatch's stored data.
Third-party sources
PartMatch may link to manufacturer or other third-party sources as evidence. Those sites and their content are controlled by their respective operators and are subject to their own terms and policies.
Purchases and merchant offers
PartMatch does not sell products, process purchases, or accept payment information. When the separately enabled commerce feature is available and a user explicitly asks where to buy an eligible verified filter, PartMatch can provide a PartMatch-owned purchase page. Commerce availability never changes whether PartMatch considers a part compatible.
Amazon affiliate links
An eligible PartMatch purchase page may include a clearly disclosed Amazon.com affiliate link for the exact mapped replacement part. PartMatch may earn a commission from qualifying purchases. Amazon controls the marketplace listing, seller, price, availability, shipping, returns, and checkout. Users should verify the exact part identifier on Amazon before purchasing. Affiliate availability never changes PartMatch's compatibility result.
No warranty
PartMatch is provided on an as-available basis. While the service is designed to return only source-backed compatibility claims, data can become outdated, incomplete, or unavailable. To the extent permitted by law, no warranty is made that every result will be error-free or suitable for every appliance revision.
Changes
These terms may be updated as PartMatch's coverage or features change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
