PartMatch Privacy Policy

Effective October 7, 2026

Data PartMatch receives

PartMatch receives only the fields needed for a compatibility or purchase-path request: an appliance model number, an optional appliance brand, a replacement-part number when you ask about a specific part, and a country code for the US-only Amazon purchase pilot. PartMatch does not accept payment or shipping information. PartMatch does not require an account and does not ask for names, email addresses, precise location, passwords, government identifiers, health information, or full conversation history.

How the data is used

Lookup inputs are used only to match the requested appliance or part against PartMatch's verified compatibility dataset and return the result. PartMatch does not use tool inputs for advertising, behavioral profiling, or sale of personal data.

Retention

The PartMatch application does not write tool inputs to an application database or application log and does not retain them after the request completes. PartMatch is hosted on Vercel, which may process ordinary infrastructure metadata such as IP address, user agent, request path, timestamp, performance information, and errors for service delivery, security, and reliability. Vercel's standard runtime-log window depends on the hosting plan (currently from 1 hour to 3 days); optional extended retention can be up to 30 days. PartMatch does not separately extend that infrastructure-log retention.

Recipients and service providers

Requests are processed by Vercel as PartMatch's hosting provider. Compatibility source links in results point to public manufacturer or parts-reference pages, but PartMatch does not send your lookup input to those sources when answering a tool request. PartMatch does not send appliance model numbers, brands, or conversation text to Amazon when creating a purchase path.

Amazon affiliate purchase path

When the separately enabled commerce feature is available and you explicitly ask where to buy a verified eligible filter, PartMatch may return a PartMatch-owned purchase page. That page can contain a clearly disclosed Amazon.com Associates link, and PartMatch may earn a commission from qualifying purchases. The PartMatch page is part-specific; appliance model inputs are not included in the Amazon link. Amazon receives information according to its own policies only after you choose to follow the Amazon link.

Your choices

You can minimize data sharing by entering only appliance and part identifiers, and you can stop using PartMatch at any time. If you believe a compatibility record is wrong or have a privacy question, use the support page or email hello@softflow.cz. Do not include passwords, payment information, government identifiers, health information, or other sensitive personal data in a support request.
